My family was quite prominent in Meade county during the 1900's and  
1800's and yet their names are not listed. My maternal grandparents  
were Judge William A. Baskett and Linda Earl Baskett. They resided  
(and I grew up) in the house on west hill now owned by Chris McGehee.  
Her parents were William and Mary McIntire who also lived on west  
hill; he ran a general store in the old downtown section of town. My  
mother was Mildred E. Baskett and her brother was Jesse W. Baskett.

If these names could be included, perhaps, some person searching for  
geneology might be served. I own the Long Branch farm next t o Eugene  
McGehee (Boss Lee) on which I plan to retire in the next several  
years. My name is Worth E. (Chip) Howard.
